Increased production of large presses

AP&T is increasing its current production of large presses. The reason underlying the decision to expand is primarily a strong global demand for press hardening lines from the automotive industry.

"Our press hardening business has developed very positively the past few years, as has the need for large and more advanced presses," says Magnus Svenningsson, Sales Manager at AP&T Press Systems.

Twice as large machinery room
In order to meet the growing demand while cutting down on delivery times, AP&T has heavily increased its production capacity in Tranemo. The new machinery room was inaugurated less than four years ago, and has now been expanded to twice its original size.
"The new machinery room has all the infrastructure needed for a highly effective manufacturing process, and we are already fully utilizing capacity thanks to the strong order intake."
