AP&T setting up operations in Turkey

AP&T has been operating in Turkey since July 1, 2011 through TPEC, a consultancy firm. Its headquarters are in Istanbul.

"The manufacturing industry in Turkey is dynamic and has a great deal of growth potential. Many sheet metal forming companies can improve their productivity through automation, and this is where we can offer know-how and complete production solutions," says Jan Jonasson, Senior Area Sales Manager at AP&T.

TPEC's consultants have solid experience from projects and problem solving in the manufacturing industry's supply chain, which is one of the customer categories AP&T focuses on with its production solutions for press hardening.

"For the time being, we are going to focus on creating new customer relationships and increasing awareness of AP&T. That there is strong interest in our offering is something of which I have no doubt."
