One of the biggest deliveries ever – Five press hardening lines for Fiat from AP&T
An increasing number of vehicle manufacturers are deciding to use press hardened parts in their cars as a means to reduce weight and improve safety. Fiat is one of them. The company installed its first press hardening line at its production facility in Cassino, Italy four years ago. Fiat currently has five press hardening lines – all of them from AP&T.

More effective production with automation – Nissan building the cars of the future with automation from AP&T
“The gateway to a brave new electric world.” This is how the 100% electric Nissan LEAF was described when it won the 2011 World Car of the Year award. Thus far the car model has only been manufactured in Japan, but production will also commence at Nissan’s plant in Sunderland, UK this spring. It will be one of the models being built using press equipment that has been upgraded with automation from AP&T.

Quality decisive for choice – Viessmann chooses press equipment from AP&T
The Viessmann Group, one of the world's leading heating system manufacturers, has invested in a new hydraulic press and a new tool changing system from AP&T. The equipment will be used to produce high-capacity boilers at Viessmann's facilities in Berlin.

The sheet metal forming experts at AP&T are making their biggest investment ever – in entirely new production facilities in Ulricehamn, Sweden. "We are equipping ourselves to meet the growing market for press hardening," says Tord Andersson, CEO of AP&T.
