It is always vital to keep machinery operational and disruptions at a minimum. But how can we ensure a high level of availability when travel and visiting restrictions make it difficult for service technicians to work on site? If your machinery is remotely connected to AP&T, operational disruptions can often be prevented or rectified from afar.

“Many of the machines we delivered through the years were equipped for remote diagnostics, even if a customer doesn’t actively utilize the functionality. When machinery is connected, we can often see which wear parts are next in line to be replaced. And if there were to be an operational disruption, we could quickly troubleshoot the problem and either take immediate measures or assist the customer’s staff in doing so,” says Mats Kinnby, Head of Global Technical Support at AP&T.

How do you know whether your machinery is equipped for remote connection?

“It’s just a matter of contacting us and we’ll run a functionality test. If your machinery is equipped for remote connection, we can check its status and verify that the connection works as it should.”

The next step is to enter into an availability agreement with AP&T.

“A support agreement grants you full access to technical experts who can help you remotely. It is a simple, cost-efficient measure for maintaining reliability in production, not least in times like these,” says Mats Kinnby.

Please contact your normal AP&T contact person for more information on our technical support, our remote diagnostics offering and our availability agreement.
