Application

Forging

Press forging produces components with high strength, fatigue resistance, and reliability. The process can be performed at elevated temperature (hot forging) or at ambient temperature (cold forging), depending on the material and application. In both cases, the press needs to deliver precise force control, high availability, and consistent results.

Our knowledge

Presses and automation for cold and hot forging

We design and manufacture presses for a broad range of forging applications, from cold forging processes that require multiple synchronized cylinder functions to hot forging of diverse materials. Decades of experience in automation, material handling, integration, and complete production lines allow us to support efficient, repeatable, consistent, and robust manufacturing. Our servo press technology adds precise process control and significantly lower energy consumption compared to conventional alternatives.

Our offering

Complete forging solutions

We offer complete solutions for forging applications, from standalone presses to fully integrated production lines. Servo and hydraulic press technology, optimized process concepts, and fully integrated automation are combined to deliver high productivity, precision, and consistent quality in both hot and cold forging.

Full forming energy

As long as the press operates within its maximum force rating, full press force is available throughout the entire working stroke. This eliminates the need for complex forming energy calculations typically required with other press technologies.

Servo press efficiency

Maximum performance with minimum energy consumption. Our servo press offers exceptional efficiency and positioning accuracy of ±0.05 mm, helping manufacturers produce high-quality forged components with consistent results.

Multiple cylinder functions

Multi-axis press solutions that adapt to a variety of forging applications. Available with both conventional and servo-driven cylinder functions, they can be used for part ejection or integrated directly into the forming process, adding flexibility and productivity.
